In this step, you determine how the wage types relevant to National Reservist data are to be processed during the payroll run.
This is controlled by means of the following cumulations, processing and evaluation classes:
- Processing class 60: Storage and Summarization of SPF Wages
This processing class controls in which way SPF contributions are stored and cumulated.
- Cumulation 2: OW for CPF
If cumulation 2 is selected for a wage type, it will be added to cumulation wage type /102. The latter is used to sum up the total of all ordinary wages which are relevant to calculate the CPF contribution.
- Cumulation 3: AW for CPF
If cumulation 3 is selected for a wage type, it will be added to cumulation wage type /103. The latter is used to sum up the total of all additional wages which are relevant to calculate the CPF contribution.
- Cumulation 4: OW (No CPF contribution)
If cumulation 4 is selected for a wage type, it will be added to cumulation wage type /104. The latter is used to sum up the total of all ordinary wages which are not relevant to calculate the CPF contribution (e.g. wages which are exempt from CPF contributions).
- Cumulation 5: AW (No CPF contribution)
If cumulation 5 is selected for a wage type, it will be added to cumulation wage type /105. The latter is used to sum up the total of all additional wages which are not relevant to calculate the CPF contribution (e.g. additional payments hich are exempt from CPF contributions).
- Cumulation 7: SDF relevant earning
If cumulation 7 is selected for a wage type, it will be added to cumulation wage type /107. The latter is used to sum up the total of all wage types which are relevant to the calculation of the SDF contribution.
- Evaluation class 6: Wage type allocation for CPF Monthly Returns
This evaluation class controls which type of contributions a wage type belongs to (e.g.: employee's contribution on ordinary wages to CPF, contribution to FWL). This information is then used in report RPCCPFR0 (Create monthly CPF reports).
