In this step, you define the wage types used to increase or decrease the amount of tax deducted from an employee's salary.
The tax is in addition to the standard amount of tax calculated during payroll based on the tax details stored in the Tax Australia infotype (0188) for each employee. This is a useful alternative to overriding the tax calculated by the system.
Standard settings
The standard system contains a model SAP wage type.
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you use or copy the model SAP wage type.
Activities
- Choose the relevant wage type.
- In processing class 21, enter specification X (Additional taxation) against the wage type.
