In this step, you set up the termination/redundancy action numbers used to process terminations and redundancies. To do this you maintain the 13TRM feature.
Requirements
Before setting up the termination/redundancy action numbers, you must:
- Configure your termination and redundancy reasons
To do this, go to SAP Reference IMG -> Personnel Management -> Personnel Administration -> Setting Up Procedures -> Actions -> Set Up Personnel Actions, and then SAP Reference IMG ->Payroll-> Payroll Australia -> Terminations/Redundancies ->Create Reasons for Personnel Actions.
- Create reasons for each personnel action and assign a reason category
To do this, go to SAP Reference IMG -> Payroll Australia -> Terminations/Redundancies -> Create Reasons for Personnel actions and Assign Reason Category.
Standard settings
The standard system contains default termination and redundancy action numbers that have been configured in feature 13TRM:
- The first number denotes the termination action, and is preset to 10. Ten is the termination action number used by the termination program to delimit infotypes during the termination process.
- The next number denotes the redundancy action, and is preset to 25. Twenty-five is the redundancy action number used to create termination records in the Actions infotype (0000).

Activities
To set up your action numbers and identify early retirement reasons, you:
- Enter the relevant action numbers against &13TRM=nnyy (where nn is the termination action number used for delimiting infotypes and yy the redundancy action number).

For more information on maintaining features, see the SAP Library documentation under HR -> HR Tools -> Features Editor.
