In this step, you set up a default tax scale that the SAP System automatically proposes when you create an employee record in the Tax Australia infotype (0188).
Requirements
The tax scale that is to be used as a default value must already exist in the SAP System. You can use one of the tax scales delivered with the standard system or one you created in the step Create tax scale .
Standard settings
In the standard system, a default tax scale has been set up in feature 13TAX (Set Tax Scale for IT0188).
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you change the standard settings when you identify a group of employees requiring a different default tax scale.
