The collection, storage, use, disclosure and security of tax file number (TFN) information are subject to strict privacy laws. It is therefore important that you restrict access to TFN information stored in the SAP System.

This step describes where you can set up authorisation profiles, and how to restrict access to TFN information stored in the TFN Australia infotype (0227).

Activities

  1. To give a user authorisation to view TFN information, in the Implementation Guide (IMG), go to Authorisation Administration -> Maintain authorisations, and make the required settings.
  2. To deny a user authorisation, you must restrict the TFN Australia infotype (0227) in the user's profile.
