In this step, you create your superannuation fund modifiers.
The modifiers are used to link superannuation fund rules to different employee groupings so that superannuation contributions can be calculated correctly for each grouping. Each modifier is assigned to a particular personnel area or subarea.
Example
You want to set up a superannuation fund that has different rules for casual employees and full-time employees. To do this, you must first ensure that casual and full-time employees are grouped into separate personnel areas or subareas. You then create a superannuation fund modifier for both casual and full-time employees, and assign the modifier to the respective personnel area or subarea.
Requirements
You must group employees subject to different superannuation fund rules into separate personnel areas/subareas.
Standard settings
The standard system contains model superannuation fund modifiers that you can use to meet your requirements.
Recommendation
Use any two-digit number for the superannuation modifier.
Activities
Choose Edit -> New entries, and enter one or more two-digit numbers.
