In this step, you define superannuation funds. To create a new superannuation fund, you enter the fund under the Superannuation infotype (0220) in the view Subtype characteristics (V_T591A).
Each superannuation fund is subject to a time constraint that ensures data validity for end-of-year processing.

Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system contains model superannuation funds that you can copy and rename to create your own.
The standard system also contains the following time constraints:
1 An infotype record must be available at all times. The record
may not have time gaps. You may not delete the last record saved
or all records for this infotype will be deleted.
2 Only one infotype record is valid at any one time; time gaps
are permitted.
3 Any number of records may be valid at any one time; time gaps
are permitted.
Z Applies to infotypes set up in the Time Management component.
Superannuation guarantee charge (SGC) funds usually have a time constraint of 2 (Record may include gaps; no overlapping).
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you use the model SAP entries to set up new superannuation funds.
Activities
To set up superannuation funds, you:
- Choose Edit -> New entries, and enter the relevant subtype and a subtype description.
- Enter the relevant time constraint.
