In off-cycle payroll, the system calls various reports. In this step, you define the variants, with which the reports can be executed.

The standard system contains some model entries for the view Variations for off-cycle payroll .

Recommendation

Activities

For off-cycle payroll you need variants for the following reports:

  • Payroll report RPCALCXX and HxxCALC0
  • Report for the creation of a remuneration statement RPCEDTXX and HxxCEDT0
  • Report preprogram data medium exchange RPCDTCXX and HxxCDTA0

    (XX stands for country specific variations)

You can copy the SAP model entries or create new entries. Proceed as follows:

  1. For the payroll types that are used in your company, create one variant per report. Ensure that the variant contains only the correct schema and no company code.

    For more information, refer to the SAP Library, under BC-Basis -> ABAP Workbench -> BP-ABAP Workbench:Tools -> ABAP Editor -> Variant Maintenance -> Creating and Maintaining Variants -> Creating Variants.

  2. In the view Variants for off-cycle payroll accounting, create new entries using Edit -> Copy or Edit -> New entries, and assign variants to the reports, the payroll type and the application.
