In this step, you set up the wage types used to accrue leave on the hours worked by an employee.
Example
An employee works different hours each payroll period. The employee is entitled to accrue leave, but not the full amount of leave. Instead, the employee accrues a proportional value that is based on the hours worked and calculated as a percentage of normal full-time hours.
Standard settings
The standard system contains model wage types that you can use or copy.
Activities
To accrue leave on the hours worked by an employee, you:
- Flag the wage types containing the hours to be accrued to the total number of hours worked for the payroll period.
- Choose Goto -> Details, and enter specification 1 (wage type is included in leave basis hours) against processing class 68 (processing class for actual leave accrual) for each wage type.
- Navigate between the wage types using Goto -> Next entry.
