In this step, you configure the payroll program to calculate leave provisions using Australian leave accruals. To do this, you:
- Activate the subschema used to calculate leave provisions
- Configure the subschema to process leave provisions using Australian leave accruals
Example
Subschema QLVP is deactivated in payroll schema Q000 and is pre-configured to use leave and absence quotas. To process your leave provisions, you must activate the subschema and modify it to process leave accruals.
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, the subschema used to process leave provisions is deactivated and pre-configured to process leave provisions using leave and absence quotas in Personnel Time Management.
Recommendation
Activities
To activate the subschema:
- In the Payroll Australia schema (Q000), copy and rename the EOM Leave Provision subschema (for example, copy subschema QLVP and rename it ZLVP).
- In column D (Delimitation) of the copied subschema, delete the asterisk.
To configure the subschema to process leave provisions using leave accruals, you:
- Double-click on your copied subschema (for example, ZLVP).
- To deactivate leave provision processing using leave quotas, enter an asterisk in column D of the function Leave provision for international leave (QLVPR).
- To activate leave provision processing using leave accruals:
- Copy and rename the Calculate leave provisions function (for example, copy function QLVEM and rename it ZLVEM).
- In column D of the copied function, delete the asterisk.
