In this step, you assign absence quota groupings to absence quota types. This enables the Leave report (RPLEAVQ0) to determine whether a quota type belongs to the grouping for long service leave, annual leave, or sick leave.
The system uses these settings to determine primarily whether the quota type is for long service leave. If this is the case, the Leave report applies a leave liability percentage to the long service leave quota type.
