In this step, you configure the payroll program to calculate leave loading using the leave quota data stored in the Personnel Time Management component. To do this, you:

  • Deactivate the Australian leave accrual functions used to calculate leave loading
  • Activate the leave loading function used to calculate loading based on leave quotas in Personnel Time Management

Caution

You should only configure this step, if you are an upgrade customer wishing to convert from Australian leave accruals to Personnel Time Management. The step describes how to modify your current system to process leave loading based on leave and absence quotas.

Example

Requirements

Before performing this activity, you must ensure that you have copied and renamed subschema QT00 to ZT00, and subschema QLVE to ZLVE.

Standard settings

The standard system is configured to process leave loading based on leave and absence quotas in Personnel Time Management. If you are an upgrade customer wanting to convert to Personnel Time Management, you will have to change your system configurations to reflect this standard.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. To deactivate the Australian leave accrual functions, enter an asterisk in column D (Delimitation) of the following functions found within your copied version of the Leave processing subschema (ZLVE):
    • Cumulate Leave Hours Australia (PZL)
    • Loading Leave Adjustments Australia (QLOAD)
    • Leave Accrual Australia (QLVTY).
  2. To activate leave loading using leave quotas, delete the asterisk in column D of the function Leave loading - fixed date (QLVLL) found within your copied version of the Leave processing subschema.
