In this step, you define how leave loading wage types are taxed by:
- Assigning the appropriate tax specification to each wage type in processing class 21 (Wage Types Used for Taxation)
- Defining the envelope you want to use with the wage type
Requirements
When you configure leave loading wage types, you must ensure that the specification entered against processing class 21 is valid for leave loading.
Standard settings
The standard system contains model wage types already configured for tax on leave loading, as well as preconfigured tax specifications.
Activities
To configure tax on leave loading, you:
- Flag the wage types you want to configure for taxation, and choose Goto -> Details.
- To define the type of tax required, enter the appropriate specification against each wage type in processing class 21.
- Depending on the envelope you want each wage type to appear on, either flag cumulation 11, 12, 13 or 14.
- Navigate between the wage types using Goto -> Next entry.
