In this step, you configure wage types for leave provision processing by assigning one of the following leave specifications to the wage types in processing class 67 (Leave Provision Wage Types):
- Recreational leave
- Long service leave
- Overtime leave
- Non-accruing leave
Wage types that are not used in leave provision processing are assigned the specification Not a leave provision wage type.
Example
You want to set up a wage type to calculate the leave provision value for annual leave. To do this, you select the wage type and set processing class 67 to specification 2 (Recreational leave).
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system contains model wage types already configured for leave provision processing.
Activities
To set up leave provision wage types, you:
- Flag the wage types you want to use as leave provision wage types, and choose Goto -> Details.
- Enter the appropriate specification against each wage type in processing class 67.
- Navigate between the wage types using Goto -> Next entry.
