In this step, you assign your leave provision wage types to an absence quota type, employee subgroup grouping and personnel subgroup grouping. This enables you to project your leave liability for the employee and personnel subgroup groupings specified.
You may use the Quota type selection rule group to control absence quota type selection based on the employees' organization assignment during time evaluation.

The standard system contains model entries that you can copy and rename to create your own.
Recommendation
To change a record, SAP recommends that you delimit the validity dates of the existing record and create a new record.
SAP recommends that you set the Quota type selection rule group by using the feature QUOMO. The other methods of configuring Quota type selection rule group are by using:
- Function MOD in the time evaluation schema
- A personnel calculation rule you have written yourself in the time evaluation schema.
If you require to set the Quota type selection rule group through the time evaluation schema, using the above two methods, then you must set the Quota type selection rule group to blank in this table.
Activities
- Enter the relevant employee and personnel subgroup groupings.
- Enter the quota type selection rule group, if applicable. Configuring this is not mandatory.
- Enter absence quota type, leave provision wage type and validity dates.
