Use

In this step you set up the 13ATO feature to identify the Income Type for an employee, used to generate the ATO file.

The possible returned values from this feature are:

  • S for Salaried employee
  • P for Pensioner

In case there is any other Income Type, the value S is defaulted.

Set up your employee group and subgroup in the 13ATO Feature.

Example

You need to generate an ATO file for Mr. Sawer (who is a salaried employee).

As the employer, before you generate the ATO file, you use the 13ATO feature to:

  • Populate the Income Type for Mr. Sawer's using his:
    • country grouping, which is equal to 13
    • employee group, which is equal to 1
    • employee subgroup, which is equal to Q1
  • Set the 13ATO Feature to return the value:
    • S for employees in employee subgroup Q1
    • S for employees in employee subgroup Q2
    • P for employees in employee subgroup Q3
    • S for employees in employee subgroup Q4 and any other subgroup
