In this step, you set up the wage types used to make child support deductions.
The system checks the values set up in the Payroll Constants view (V_T511K) to determine the employee's protected net. The system then calculates how much child support can be deducted from the employee's earnings without reducing the earnings to below the protected net amount.

The standard system contains model SAP wage types that you can copy to create your own.
Recommendation
Activities
To set up wage types for child support deductions, you select the wage type you want to use for child support deductions and enter specification 1 (Child support deduction) against processing class 64.
If you do not want to use the wage type, leave processing class 64 blank.
