In this step, you assign your wage types to a wage type group. All arrears deductions must be assigned to the wage type group Drop Deduction Wage Types.

Requirements

You must define the wage types in the section Create wage type catalog, and generate the wage type catalog for deductions in the Implementation Guide for Personnel Administration.

Standard settings

The standard system contains model SAP wage types for drop deductions that are already assigned to the appropriate wage type group.

Activities

  1. Check your wage types.
  2. If necessary, assign new wage types to the wage type group as follows:
    1. Choose New entries.
    2. Enter the relevant wage types and wage type texts.
