Use

In this IMG activity, you can set up default wage types for the Basic Pay infotype (0008) based on your company or organization's structure using the LGMST (Planned remuneration specification) feature.

Requirements

You have defined the LGMST feature.

Standard settings

The standard system contains model default wage types used to calculate the basic pay of public sector employees.

You can copy this model and edit it to meet the requirements of your organization.

Recommendation

Use the model as an example.

Activities

  1. Delete and create entries as required.
  2. For each new entry, enter the return code of the Feature LGMST.
    1. Enter the key for the feature for default wage types.
    2. Define the validity period of the wage types.
    3. Assign sequential numbers to the wage types if you define more than wage type.
    4. Define how the wage types are to be assigned by entering an indicator in the Mode field.
      5. The following indicators are set:
      F - The wage type is assigned for basic pay and cannot be overwritten (fixed value).
      O - The wage type can be entered and/or overwritten.
      BLANK - No wage type entries may be made.
    5. In the Wage type field, enter the default wage type for basic pay.
