Use
In this IMG activity, you can create social security regimes for private sector employees and public sector employees apppointed after December 31, 2005. You can also create CGA pension schemes for public sector employees appointed before January 1, 2006.
The user can then choose one of these regimes when recording social security data for an employee in the Social Security PT infotype (0332).
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system supports the following scenarios:
- Contributions to the standard social security scheme
For employees who joined the organization, either public or private, on or later than January 1, 2006.
- Contributions to the CGA pension scheme
For employees who joined the public sector organization earlier than December 31, 2005.
In the table HR-PT: Social Security - Master Data Regime (T5P2R), tthe system uses the entry CGA Unique Regime (C1) to identify this scenario in the payroll run.
- Mixed schemes
For employees who pay contributions to the social security and to the CGA pension scheme.
In the table HR-PT: Social Security - Master Data Regime (T5P2R), the system uses the entry CGA Mixed Regime (C2) to identify this scenario in the payroll run.
Note
Do not change the codes C1 and C2. Function PCGA0 (Calculating Social Security (CGA and Standard Contributions) ) uses these codes to determine which schemes need to be included in the calculation of contributions.
Activities
- Determine which standard social security regimes are necessary.
- For each new regime, define the following:
- Description of the social security regime
