Use

In this IMG activity, you can check the payroll parameters that determine legally defined percentages for monthly ADSE deductions. The user can then record the relevant deductions for an employee in the Social Security PT infotype (0332).

Requirements

Standard settings

The standard system contains the following constants.

UADS1: ADSE exempt

For all employees who joined a public sector organization before January 1, 2007 who were exempt from ADSE deductions up until December 31, 2006

UADS2: ADSE deduction

For all employees who joined a public sector organization after December 31, 2006, the standard legal deduction rate applies

UADS3: New hires

For all employees who joined a public sector organization after December 31, 2006, and for whom the standard legal deduction rate applies

Activities

  1. Check that:
    • The start and end dates and the values for the constants are correct.
    • All payroll constants required are available.
  2. If necessary:
    • Modify the dates and values.
    • Create new payroll constants.
  3. Save your entries.
