In this step, you specify how manually entered overtime data should be imported using the function 2005 (read daily overtime) in the personnel calculation schema PC00.
Example
Manually entered overtime should override corresponding absences. The absence time pairs which have already been imported have been assigned pair type 2 (recorded absence).
In order to import manually entered overtime and delimit the absence pairs which have already been imported, activate function P2005, with the value 2 as the second parameter.
Requirements
You also record overtime manually in infotype 2005, Overtime.
Standard settings
Function P2005 for importing overtime is activated.
Recommendation
Only make changes here if you do not want to use the standard system.
Activities
- Decide if you want to record overtime.
- Decide how the system should behave if overtime time pairs overlap existing time pairs. The options are as follows:
- blank: existing time pairs remain unchanged.
- xy: only time pairs for which the pair type is recorded in parameter 2 (here: x or y) are delimited by the imported overtime pairs.
- *: If there is a collision, each time pair is delimited.
Further notes
The overtime pairs generated by function P2005 are assigned the pair type 1 (attendance), origin indicator O (overtime) from infotype 2005, Overtime, and the overtime compensation type specified in the overtime infotype. In addition, the appropriate split indicators are set if cost distribution or alternative payment data were specified for the overtime record. If overtime breaks were entered, break pairs are generated; the length of a break pair depends on the break duration and not on the time interval.
The following time identifiers are assigned:
- Overtime pair: 01
- Unpaid overtime during break: 07
- Paid overtime during break: 08
In order for the overtime to be taken into account correctly for wage type generation, the processing type Overtime (M) must be assigned to the time pair when processing the time data.
