In this step, you specify, for every seniority scheme (wage type), the progression and respective rewards.

Example

  1. A certain seniority scheme specifies that every employee is entitled to a seniority bonus of 37,5 EUR after being 48 months with the company, and 100 EUR after 90 months.
  2. Another scheme pays a supplement of 2% of basic remuneration when the employee stays more than 24 months in the same pay scale group/level, 4% after 48 months, and so on, up to a maximum of 8% after 96 months.

Standard settings

The standard SAP R/3 system already contains example entries for the model wage types delivered.

Recommendation

Activities

1. For every seniority wage type, specify the progression steps in the

Amount field and the respective rewards in the Value field.

2. For some wage types, and according to their type of

seniority valuation specified in step Determine type of seniority, enter amounts in the Value field;

3. For other wage types, enter percentages in the Value field.

4. Save your entries.
