Seniority bonuses are very often a percentage of the Basic Pay.
In this step, you specify which Basic Pay wage types should be included as basis for this calculation.

Standard settings
In the standard SAP R/3 system, all Basic Pay wage types are configured as relevant for every type of seniority calculation.
Recommendation
Activities
- Check which bases you require for your seniority bonuses calculation.
- Specify, for each wage type if it should be included in a valuation basis and if so, in which one(s).
Further notes
This is only relevant for seniority bonuses with types of valuation 2 and 3. See step Determine type of seniority for more information.
