For reporting purposes, time objects like absences, work schedules or internal functions need to be classified into categories or have certain properties. This step allows you to specify classifications or properties for each classification object. The respective assignment of the classifications or properties is then carried out in step Maintain classification objects.
Example
To classify leave as an absence type, enter the appropriate value for this classification in the field Classification object value that corresponds to Absence. In the next step, the value specified here will be assigned, together with other previously specified values, to the corresponding classification object.
Activities
To specify classifications or properties of a certain object:
Select New entries.
Select a classification object.
Enter a value in the field Classification object value for the classification or property you want to specify.
Enter a description of the classification or property in the field Classification object value text.
