This step allows you to configure the several rules for lunch allowance existing in your company.
Afterwards, the valuation rules created here, should be assigned to the appropriate employees in the step Choose lunch allowance valuation rule.
Example
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system has several model wage types that can be used as templates to create lunch allowance payments - these are in the range LA++ and include cash and meal ticket payments.
Recommendation
Create as many entries as necessary to cover all the different cases of lunch allowance payment.
Activities
Configurable parameters are:
- Daily rate (or amount per meal) - this includes:
- wage type - the characteristics of the wage type define how this rate will be valuated (by a constant, by valuation bases, etc.) and which payment method will be used (cash or meal tickets);
- a fixed rate can also be supplied - either directly in the appropriate field or through a specified Personnel Calculation Rule (refer to step Copy model rule for calculation of daily rate for an explanation on how to create suitable Personnel Calculation Rules);
- whether part-time workers get the full amount or only a proportional allowance payment.
- Number of days to be paid per month:
- effective work days (public holidays and absences are subtracted);
- same number of days every month (refer to step Determine number of days on how to configure this option);
- have a special Personnel Calculation Rule to calculate the desired
- number of days (refer to step Determine number of days for an explanation on how to create suitable Personnel Calculation Rules).
