This step describes how to set values for constant valuations used for certain wage types.

Standard Settings

The standard system contains sample entries with 01 as the modifier value which you can use as templates for your own wage types.

Activities

  1. Check whether there are wage types at your company for which a constant valuation is required.
  2. Check whether a wage type is valuated differently, depending on certain criteria.

    Examples of such criteria include locations or employee subgroups.

  3. Copy the standard personnel calculation rule PTMO and rename it ZMOD.
  4. Set up this decision tree in personnel calculation rule ZMOD and set modifier 2 (MODIF 2) to different values.
  5. Change the personnel calculation rule accessed by schema PT00 from PTMO to ZMOD.
  6. Enter the values for each wage type and modifier.

Note

In the standard SAP system, modifier 2 is usually set as 01. If you do not need different values for the same wage type, you can omit steps three through five and enter all wage types under the modifier value 01 .
