In this step, you define which absence quota types are to be paid out on the basis of a particular termination reason. You also define the wage types to pay out the leave entitlements, leave accruals and public holidays encapsulated by the leave entitlement and/or leave accrual.

Standard settings

The system contains the following model wage types:

  • Leave Ent. on Termin wage type (M160)
  • Leave Acc. on Termin wage type (M161)
  • Public holidays on Termin wage type (M162)

Activities

  1. Define the absence quota types allowed for the termination reasons.
  2. Enter the wage types to pay out the leave entitlement, leave accrual and public holiday amounts.
  3. Set the Accrual in PH indicator to pay out all public holidays that are partially or fully encapsulated by the annual leave accruals of the employee, starting from the termination date.
