Use

In this IMG activity, maintain the value for the constant that determines the date, based on which the system reads the following tables to calculate tax for the payroll period:

  • Taxation Student Loan Deduction NZ (T7NZTL)
  • Taxation Earner Premium NZ (T7NZTE)
  • Tax Codes NZ (T7NZTX)
  • Taxation Rebates NZ (T7NZTR)
  • National Superannuitant Surcharge Codes NZ (T7NZTS)

You can set the following values for the constant:

  • 1 - System reads the tax tables based on the Pay Date of the payroll period to calculate tax. This is the default value of the constant.
  • 2 - System reads the tax tables based on the End Date of the payroll period to calculate tax.

Requirements

Standard settings

The default value of the constant is 1.

Activities

  1. Delimit the previous entry.
  2. Enter the Start Date for the new entry.
  3. Enter the Value.
  4. Save your entries.
