In this step, you define new Accident Compensation (ACC) earner premium rates or maintain existing earner premium rates for different tax codes. These amounts are used in the calculation of the earner premium and are defined by the Inland Revenue Department.

Standard settings

The SAP system contains entries for tax codes that attract ACC earner premium in the current and previous financial years. You only need to change these entries when the Inland Revenue Department makes changes to the amounts.

Activities

  1. To change the earner premium rates, select the tax code that you wish to change.
  2. Change the values.

Further notes

If you change the Earner Premium Tax Calculation Ceiling (Earn Threshld field), you must also maintain the ACCMC constant which defines the Maximum earnings for ACC earner premium and the Maximum earnings for ACC employer premium.
