In this step, you define which wage types are to be evaluated for the Quarterly Employment Survey and how they are to be evaluated.

Requirements

Standard settings

The SAP System contains the evaluation class 11 which contains the following specifications:

  • 01 Ordinary Time amount and hours
    This is only for wage types that store an amount and normal working hours. If the system finds wage types with this specification, it will only process one per employee and the hours and amount will be added to the report totals.

    Example: M090 Hourly wage 20.00(rate) 75.00(hours) 1,500.00 (amount)
  • 02 Ordinary Time amount
    If a wage type with specification 01 has been found, wage types with specification 02 will be ignored. Otherwise, the amount will be added to report totals. Only one such wage type will be processed.

    Example: M021 Fortnightly Salary 1,700.00 (amount)
  • 03 Ordinary Time hours
    If a wage type with specification 01 has been processed (amount), the normal working hours field of the wage type with specification 03 will be added to the report total. Only one such wage type will be processed.

    Example: M095 Hours Worked 67.50 (hours)

    Note : For salaried employees you need to have created a wage type which stores normal hours worked. For more information, see Day Processing of Time Data -> Day Processing Functions -> Time Wage Type Selection Rule.
  • 04 Ordinary Time amount and hours (additional)
    The amount and hours fields of the wage types with specification 04 will be added to the report totals. There is no limit to the number of wage types which will be processed.

    Example: M180 Annual Leave 7.50 (hours) 150.00 (amount)
  • 05 Ordinary Time amount (additional)
    The amount field of the wage types with specification 05 will be added to the report totals. There is no limit to the number of wage types which will be processed.

    Example: A050 Car Allowance 200.00 (amount)
  • 06 Ordinary Time hours (additional)
    The hours field of the wage types with specification 06 will be added to the report totals. There is no limit to the number of wage types which will be processed.
  • 07 Overtime amount and hours
    The amount and hours fields of the overtime wage types with specification 07 will be added to the report totals. There is no limit to the number of wage types which will be processed.

    Example: Z180 Annual Leave 7.50 (hours)
    Z185 Annual Leave Payout 150.00 (amount)
  • 08 Overtime amount
    The amount field of the overtime wage types with specification 08 will be added to the report totals. There is no limit to the number of wage types which will be processed.

    Example : Z110 Overtime Pay 68.01 (amount)
  • 09 Overtime hours
    The hours field of the overtime wage types with specification 09 will be added to the report totals. There is no limit to the number of wage types which will be processed.

    Example : Z110 Overtime 3.00 (hours)

Activities

To maintain the wage types which are to be evaluated in the Quarterly Employment Survey:

  1. Choose the relevant wage type.
  2. Choose Goto -> Details.
  3. Enter the specification class.
  4. Save your entry.
