In this step, you set up the alphabetic numbering for the Inland Revenue certificate number which is required on all IR certificates.
The alphabetic numbering is required by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) for the IR certificate to be valid. IR certificate numbers cannot be printed on your IR certificates until you have set up the alphabetic numbering.
Example
You may wish to set up the alphabetic numbering per company code whereby the numbering starts at LA for company code NZ01. The operation for company code NZ01 would be &IRNUM=LA, NEXTR.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system contains the Inland Revenue certificate feature 43IRD configured to begin the alphabetic numbering of the certificates at LA.
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you configure the alphabetic numbering in accordance with guidelines specified by the IRD.
Activities
Modify the feature 43IRD as required.
