In this step you can set the number of calendar days after which the 42nd week, 13th Week and 8th Month Sickness Notification "UWV" should be created. This notification should reach the executive authority no later than 42 weeks, 13 weeks or 8 months after the first day of sickness.
Which of the two notifications is relevant depends on whether or not you are own risk bearer for the WGA (Partially Disabled Workers Resumption of Work Act) and/or the WAO (Occupational Disability Insurance Act). If you are not an own risk bearer, the 13th week notification applies and if you are an own risk bearer, the 8th month notification applies.
Example
The 42nd week Employee Insurance Agency sickness notification must be created after 42 weeks, i.e. after 42 x 7 = 294 calendar days.
The 13th Week Sickness Notification "UWV" should be created after 12 weeks, i.e. 12 x 7 days = 84 days. The 8th Month Sickness Notification "UWV" should be created after 8 months, i.e. 7.5 x 30 days = 225 days.
Requirements
The employee is not entitled to a sickness benefit under the Sickness Benefits Act.
