In this step, you can check and change logical views. You have the following options:
- You can check or, if required, change the assignment of wage type groups to logical views.
- In the case of logical views that affect cumulations, processing classes and evaluation classes, you can you can assign further (including customer-specific) cumulations, processing classes and evaluation classes.
- You can copy a logical view and then change it if required.
Recommendation
You can add to existing assignments to logical views, but we recommend that you do not delete any of the existing assignments supplied by SAP. Otherwise, steps in the Implementation Guide (IMG) that require you to edit wage types cannot be carried out as intended.
To check or change the assignment of wage type groups to a logical view:
- In the View field, enter the key for the logical view and choose Create/change.
A list of all available wage type groups appears. The wage type groups that are assigned to the logical view are flagged.
- To add further wage type groups to the logical view, flag the relevant wage type groups.
- To delete a wage type group from a logical view, remove an existing flag.
- Save your entries.
To change a logical view that affects cumulations, processing classes and evaluation classes:
- In the View field, enter the key for the logical view and choose Create/change.
A list of all available wage type groups appears.
- Choose Continue.
The screen Logical Views for Wage Types appears
- Choose Processing classes, Cumulations or Evaluation classes.
According to which of the three objects you chose, a list appears containing all available entries. Entries that are already assigned to the logical view are flagged.
- Flag the additional entries that you want to assign to the logical view.
- Save your entries.
