In this IMG activity, you specify which rules are used for wage type generation according to day grouping. This is done using function DAYMO in personnel calculation schema TC00.

Example

You want to use the rules of day grouping 01 on workdays.

Requirements

Standard settings

If the current day is a workday, the rules for day grouping 01 are read; if the current day is a Sunday, the rules for day grouping 02 are read. The rules for day grouping 02 are also read if the day is a public holiday.

Recommendation

Never deactivate this function. Otherwise, you wold not be able to generate wage types.

Activities

  1. Enter the day grouping whose rules you want to use, if the day being evaluated is a workday, as the first parameter of function DAYMO.
  2. Enter the day grouping whose rules you want to use, if the day being evaluated is a Sunday, as the second parameter of function DAYMO.
  3. Enter the day grouping whose rules you want to use, if the day being evaluated is a public holiday but not a Sunday, as the third parameter of function DAYMO.
  4. Enter the day grouping whose rules you want to use, if the day being evaluated is a public holiday and falls on a Sunday, as the fourth parameter of function DAYMO.

Further notes

If the division into four day categories is not sufficient, you can also set the day modifier in a
personnel calculation rule using operation MODIF.
