In this IMG activity you set the groupings with which the payroll driver accesses the tables during processing.
Example
You want to generate different time wage types for employees assigned to employee subgroup grouping for the personnel calculation rule 1 than for employees in grouping 2.
Requirements
You define an employee subgroup grouping for the personnel calculation rule. You must enter a coding for the grouping in the relevant tables.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP system, the time type determination group for the employee subgroup grouping for personnel calculation rules 1, 2 and 3 has the value 02.
The time wage type selection rule group is assigned the value of the employee subgroup grouping for the personnel calculation rule to read the Time Wage Type Selection Rule table.
Recommendation
You should only make changes if you want to set the payroll driver to access the tables differently for different employee subgroup groupings to the personnel calculation rule.
Activities
- Specify the groupings with which you want the system to access the Time Wage Type Selection Rule and Time Type Determination tables for each employee subgroup grouping for the personnel calculation rule.
- Copy the standard personnel calculation rule TMOD to your own personnel calculation rule, which should observe the customer-specific name range.
- Set the groupings to the appropriate values, where
- W is the time wage type selection rule group and
- T is the time type determination group
- If there are more than 3 employee subgroup groupings for the personnel calculation rule, add additional lines following the example of groupings 1-3.
- Change the name of TMOD in personnel calculation schema TC00 to the name assinged to your own personnel calculation rule.
Further notes
The function can only be used in the initialization block (between functions BINI and EINI).
