Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define a number range interval for number range HR_NL_EIR.

This number range is used in the standard system to assign an internal number (message number) to a notification. This number is unique and only for internal use. You must not change this number range.

This number range is based on a 10-digit number.

Requirements

Standard settings

The system checks:

  1. If the number range exists,
  2. the current status of the number range, and
  3. if there are enough range numbers availabe.

No number range interval is delivered for the number range used. You have to create one in your system for number range HR_NL_EIR. The interval has to be defined as follows:

  • Number: 01
  • Year: Current Year
  • From Number: 0000000001
  • To Number: 9999999999
  • Number Range Status: No entry required

Note

The number range interval must be defined in the production system.

As the year is part of the number range interval, you have to perform this step yearly or create entries for future years in advance.
