In this step you can create a variant for report RPLCBSN0 (CBS record).
Because of the specific demands laid down by the CBS it is not possible to select wage types by processing class. Therefore, for correct processing it is necessary to create a special variant for report RPLCBSN0.

Requirements
Standard settings
Report RPLCBSN0 is supplied with the model variant: SAP&NL_CBS_SAL. This variant has been set up on the basis of model wage types and other data, such as work schedules. This model should be adapted to suit your own specific situation (the wage types and other data used by your company).
Recommendation
- Have the CBS record tested by the CBS first, before putting it to standard use.
- Always create the CBS record directly after payroll accounting.
Activities
To create a new selection variant, proceed as follows:
Choose Activity > Create variant for CBS file. This displays the the ABAP/4 editor input screen.
Start program RPLCBSN0 and choose Goto > Variants. This displays the input screen for the variants.
Enter the name of the variant SAP8NL_CBS_SAL and choose Copy. This displays the input screen for the selection criteria.
Enter the name of the variant.
Enter the required criteria.
Save the selection variant.
