First Period for Difference Calculation
Set the first period for which you wish to carry out a difference calculation in feature NLHBP.
Feature NLHBP is specifically meant for use with the difference calculation.
The feature displays the first period to which the difference calculation is applicable with reference to retroactive accounting in the payroll past. The return period is always the payroll in-period.
If the difference calculation functionality is not used value XX must always be the return value.
Example
The difference calculation funcationality is not used:

The first period in the current year to which the difference calculation should be applied is January:
**** &NLHBP=01,
The previous example represents the situation before 1999.
As of the year 2000 payroll accounting will be performed at the very beginning of January, so that any changes relevant to the previous year can still be processed together with the January payroll run using normal retroactive accounting in the payroll past. As of February the difference calculation for changes in the previous year will be applied as follows:
