It is necessary to use a dynamic event to process a retroactive hiring notification. The dynamic event checks whether the notification is retroactive or whether it is possible to submit the notification by means of the standard program for NSI notifications. The retroactive notification is linked to this infotype, because normally the data from infotype External Agencies NL is the last to be entered. This ensures that all the necessary data for the NSI notification has been recorded in the system.
The dynamic event for changing the employment basis is important, because an employee's employment basis can change during their term of employment if they, for example, take unpaid leave or if their employment changes from trainee to employee and has to be reported to the executive authority.
