Compensatory allowance (overhevelingstoeslag, OT), also referred to as premium transfer allowance, is calculated according to the rules defined by the tax authorities. During calculation the wage per period is converted to an annual wage and then rounded. The rounding is influenced by a number of parameters: Maximum annual wage and increment.
This step enables you to check these parameters.

Standard settings

The maximum annual wage and the increment for compensatory allowance (OT) are supplied by SAP as part of the standard delivery. No modificatons are required. Please note that when making changes you must always use the data defined by the tax authorities.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Check the maximum annual wage for OT and change if necessary.
  2. Check the increment for OT and change if necessary.

Interim changes: Delimit the old data and create a new record with the correct start date and the new percentages. Unchanged data must be transferred to the new record.
