This step enables you to check the contribution data for the social insurance groups and social security laws. This data is used for the calculation of contributions during gross/net payroll accounting.

Requirements

Standard settings

The statutory data is supplied by SAP in sample SI groups as part of the standard delivery. Please check the values.

Recommendation

When making interim changes you should delimit the old data and create new records with the correct start date. If possible, changes should be entered in advance, e.g. if a changed SI scheme becomes effective on July 1st, the modifications should be entered prior to the payroll accounting for June. This is important for delimiting during cumulative retroactive accounting.

  1. Check the data for each combination of SI group and social security law and change if necessary. Please pay special attention to the routine codes for the additional social security laws
