Wage tax (loonheffing) is calculated using a graded tax system based on income brackets (schijventarief). This system is applied to the annual wage after deduction of expenses and personal tax allowance. In this step you can define the limits of the income brackets.

Standard settings

The limits of income brackets 1, 2 and 3 are set by the tax office and supplied by SAP as part of the standard delivery. If necessary you can make interim changes. Please note that when making changes you must always use the data defined by the tax office.

Activities

  1. Check the limit of income bracket 1 and change if necessary.
  2. Check the limit of income bracket 2 and change if necessary.
  3. Check the limit of income bracket 3 and change if necessary.
  4. Interim changes: Delimit the old data and create a new record with the correct start date and the new values. Unchanged data must be transferred into the new record.
