This activity can be used to create personalised wage types for the calculation the gross difference in the past, by copying the template proposed by the standard SAP system.

The wage type copies can then be used and changed, to adapt them to your specific needs.

Requirements

  • For information on using prototypes to create wage types, or copying the wage type catalogues suggested by the standard SAP system, see steps "Creating wage types using wage type catalogues" and "Creating wage types using prototypes".

  • Make sure that the wage types copied from the proposed SAP template have the same properties as the template (valuation bases, processing clss, evaluation clas, etc.) The properties can be checked and changed if necessary.

Further notes

Only the range of names reserved for your company´s wage types should be used (wage types begining with a number). Do not copy wage types in the area reserved for SAP wage types templates (wage types begining with a letter or symbol).
