In this step you can create your own Severance pay wage types , by copying the model offered in the standard SAP R/3 system.

These copies are wage types that you can use and change to suit your specific requirements.

Note

  • For information about how to set the wage types using prototypes or copying the proposed wage types catalogs in the standard SAP R/3 system, see steps "Create wage types using wage types catalogs" and "Create wage types using prototyipes".

  • Note that the wage types copied from the model proposed by SAP, have the same properties (valuation bases, processing class, evaluation class, etcetera). You can check the properties and if necessary change them in the subsequent steps.

Attention

Use only the range of names reserved for the wage types of your company (wage types that begin with a number). Do not copy wage types in the area reserved for the SAP wage types model (those that begin with a letter or a symbol).
