In this step, you can define loan categories for your loan types and thus differentiate between loans with instalment repayment and those with annuity repayment.
Example
Your employee can either take out a building loan with instalment or annuity repayment. The building loan with instalment repayment is assigned the loan category "I", the building loan with annuity repayment the loan category "A".
Requirements
You have created loan types.
Recommendation
Copy the SAP model entries. If you are using your own loan types, then SAP recommends that you define your loan types beginning with"91" with repayment type "I" as an installment loan and the loan types beginning with "92" with repayment type "A" as an annuity loan. As a result you will be able to recognize from the loan type which repayment type the loan has, as in the standard system.
Activities
- When you add entries, assign category "I" to instalment loans and "A" to annuity loans.
Further notes
The values "I" (engl. installment) and "A" (engl. annuity) are fixed and cannot be changed or replaced.
For Spain it is possible to store this information in the master data area. In such cases, it is only necessary to check or, where appropriate, complement it.
