In this IMG activity you define the loan types to be used in your company and their time constraints. Loan types are subtypes of the Loans infotype (0045).
Example
Employees in your company are entitled to building loans and car loans. These loan types can be loans with constant repayments (instalment loan) or a loan that has a constant sum made up from a combination of the repayment and the interest payments (annuity loans).
Requirements
Get an idea of the loan types that are used in your company.
Standard settings
The standard SAP system contains building, car and acquisition loans as instalment and annuity loans and a permanent advance.
Recommendation
Copy the SAP model entries.
If you want to add loan types, use the loan types "91xx" for instalment loans and the loan types "92xx" for annuity loans. (0100 is the loan type for building loans for repayments in instalments, 0200 is the loan type for building loans for annuity repayments).
Activities
Copy the SAP model entries.
If necessary, add additional loan types.
You will branch into the function New entries or Copy as....
In the field Subtype enter a four-digit key for the loan type: the first two characters are "91" for instalment loan types and the first two characters for annuity loans are "92".
Assign a description to your loan type.
Enter time constraint 2.
Save your entries.
