In this activity you can create your own Incapacity benefits wage types by copying the model offered in the standard SAP R/3 system.
You can then use and change these copies to create wage types that are adapted to your specific requirements. This activity only covers wage types for calculating the incapacity subsidy paid by the IMSS (Mexical Institute for Social Insurance) and that paid by the company.
Note
- For information about configuring wage types using prototypes or by copying the wage type catalogs offered in the standard SAP R/3 system, see the stepsCreate wage types using wage type catalogs" and "Create wage types using prototypes"
- Note that wage types copied from the model offered by SAP will share the same properties as the model (valuation bases, processing class, evaluation class, etc.). You can check the properties and, if necessary, change them in subsequent steps.
Attention
When naming your wage types, use only the range of names reserved for your company wage types types (wage types beginning with a number). Do not copy wage types to the area reserved for SAP model wage type (those beginning with a letter or a symbol).
Standard settings
The standard SAP R/3 system uses the following wage types:
MI01 'IMSS Non-ind. disease ben.'
MI02 'IMSS Occup. rsk ben.'
MI03 'IMSS Maternity allow.'
MI10 'Company NID benefit'
