The calculation schema L000 defines and controls the steps performed in gross to net payroll accounting. The company-specific configuration of the payroll accounting can be influenced:
- by modifying this schema
- by changing the wage type options
Example
The basic processes defined by the schema can be described as follows:
- Reading in of personal data
- Reading in of salary
- Reading in of cumulative results
- Calculation of hourly wages
- Reading in of additional payments
- Reading in of overwork bonuses
- Valuation of bonuses
- Valuation of travelling/commuter allowances etc.
- Pro-rata calculation
- Net/Gross iteration
- Calculation of pension contributions, social insurance contributions
and compensatory allowance - Calculation of the amount to be paid out and bank transfers
- Exporting of results
Requirements
Before performing the payroll accounting run, the following data must be maintained:
- the compulsory infotypes (0000, 0001, 0007, 0008, 0009, 0059 and 0060)
- the relevant infotypes (e.g. 0011, 0014, 0015, 0057, 0110, 0127)
- the control record of the payroll unit concerned.
Standard settings
The calculation schema L000 is part of the module of the standard SAP delivery system.
Recommendation
The schema L000 is provided by SAP as a guideline for the creation of your own payroll schema. You can modify it by performing the following steps in this IMG.

Further notes
When you make changes to SAP schemas, make sure that you DO NOT modify the schemas in client 000. You can print schemas using the report RPDASC00
