Use

This Business Add-In (Add-In) is used in the Payroll for Malaysia: Borang A Form (PY-MY) component.

When you execute the EPF Report (RPCEBAL0) with the Maybank Download Format (MBB), the file generated contains the Hash Total value in trailer. The report calculates the Hash Total based on the EPF number, Employee and Employer contribution towards EPF. This is used to ensure data security. But if you do not want the EPF Report (RPCEBAL0) to generate the Hash Total value in the file, you can do so by activating this Business Add-In. Then, the report replaces the Hash Total value with spaces.

Note

Trailer is the last line of a customer file that represents a particular order.

  3. Place the cursor on the method, and double-click to enter method processing.
  4. Enter the code for the implementation between the statements method <Interface name> ~ <Name of method> and end method.
  5. Save and implement your code. Return to the Edit Implementation screen.

Note: You can also create an implementation, and then activate it at a later time. In such a case, end the processing stage at this point.

  6. Choose Activate.

The code you stored in the method will be run when the application program is executed.
